August 2010

Two works recently acquired by the National Gallery of Victoria will be exhibited in Stormy weather: Contemporary Landscape Photography from 24 September 2010 – 20 March 2011 at the Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia.

Siri’s recent collaboration with music composer Eve Duncan has been exhibited extensively. Dredge will be exhibited at the Latrobe Regional Gallery from late September - November 2010.

Siri is curating an exhibition of Sister Christina’s miniature portraits paintings that will be shown at Gallerysmith in November.

Siri and Paul Wood will embark on a studio residency in Barcelona later in 2010 that is funded by the Australia Council.

September 2008

Siri has 7 works from her Transition Portraits series in Tickle Attack - Backlight Triennale in Finland. The work will also travel to Lodz Poland in 2009.

Sirii received a special mention during the announcement of the William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize, this month for her Plein air explorers image.

Images from Siri’s Transition portrait series will be included in the group exhibition, A strange façade at the Gippsland Gallery of Art in November, along with the work of Juan Ford and Hannah Bertram

Siri Hayes and composer Eve Duncan received an Arts Victoria Development Grant for the development of Dredge, a series of photographic works and an accompanying percussive work exploring the issue of the dredging of Victoria's bays.

Siri has recently signed with gallerysmith and will hold her first exhibition there in May 2008
